For years, I’ve always thought about how to wear the glasses while surfing. Unfortunately, I lost a few pair while duck-diving or wiping out before I finally gave up on the idea. When Texas Gulf Coast Surfing offered the chance to review a product that could remedy my sunglasses problem, I was stoked but skeptical.

SILVERFISH SUNGLASSES: Part 3 of 3
Review by TGCS Contributer Reggie Eisenhauer...
Silverfish Surf Glasses Elite Series Whistler Growing up on the beach, I was first introduced to the idea of polarized sunglasses by my dad on numerous fishing trips. He swore by them as they cut out the glare from the sun, but he never had an “extra” pair for me to wear. As I grew up, I bought my own and now I try to keep a pair with me wherever I go. Needless to say, I’m a big fan of polarized lenses.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Silverfish Pt. 2

The S – Rat - Part 2 of 3
In our last review, we tested the Silverfish (Standard Series) Surf Sunglasses. As stated, they are an excellent product. Silverfish makes a total of 3 models to choose from, and they were kind enough to send us all 3 to test.
Silverfish makes sunglasses that stay on while riding waves, rarely fog, and come with polarized lenses that protect the eyes from UVA and UVB light; which can cause pterygiums (skin growth over the eye) and cataracts that have been linked to prolonged sunlight exposure.
The S – Rat model is no different in this respect, however

SILVERFISH SURF SUNGLASSES - Part 1
PRODUCT REVIEW: Silverfish Surf SunglassesThe Standard - Part 1 of 3
I have a problem that has plagued me since before I started surfing; I have light sensitive eyes. Bright light gives me headaches of a severe magnitude. I am rarely ever seen without sunglasses.
As a surfer who does a lot of dawn patrol, it is always a problem, especially since I surf in Texas. All of our beaches face the rising sun.
I had heard through the grapevine that there were sunglasses available that you could wear while surfing. So, I did an online search. My search led me to a company called Silverfish.
Silverfish makes sunglasses that are intended for use while surfing. Silver fish claims to make sunglasses that stay on while riding waves, rarely fog, and come with polarized lenses

PADDLEAIR
As a surfer and owner of a business that caters to surfers, I often spend time online searching for new and/or innovative products to review. I usually look for items that are out of the ordinary.Recently, on one of my searches, I came across a totally cool product called PaddleAir. I became even more intrigued once I started to read about it.
This product claimed to increase your surfing endurance, relieve back strain, relieve the sore rib cage, and extend your time in the water.
Since I often have marathon sessions, I thought “If it does all of that, surfers must hear of this.”
So I contacted Mr. Dave Hilts, Founder of the PaddleAir. Dave was kind enough to part with one for review.
“What is PaddleAir?” you ask.

KONA PIPELINE PORTER

When I was asked to review Kona Brewing Company's Pipeline Porter, I was truly excited. It seemed as if this beer was made for surfers. However, as only a casual beer drinker, I didn't feel that I was qualified to give this beer the proper review that it deserves.
So I contacted Rob Sawyer, a Texan surfer and beer connoisseur, and asked him to review this beer for me. Below is what he had to say about this beer.

Kona Pipeline Porter:

While celebrating my birthday in Kona last August, I was lucky enough to enjoy drinking both of Kona Brewery’s American Porters, Kona Black Sands Porter and Pipline Porter on draft at the Kona Brewery; the latter of which is now bottled and distributed throughout the United States.
